The Albany Branch originally opened back in 2005 on Broadway in Albany. It was then relocated in 2013 to its current location at 90 State Street. Here it has the new modernized layout including an open floor plan, a coin counter, and The Shops at Pioneer which features products from local businesses Discover Albany and Fort Orange General Store. All proceeds from The Shops go to the Pioneer Charitable Foundation.

- I-787 North: Take US 9 N/US 20 E exit - Exit 4. Turn left onto Broadway. Travel approximately 1/4 mile. Turn left on State Street. Pioneer is on the left hand side on the corner of State and South Pearl.
- I-787 South: Take Clinton Avenue exit - Exit 4B. Stay straight to go onto Clinton Ave. Travel approximately 1/4 mile. Take the 1st left onto North Pearl Street. Travel approximately 3/4 mile. Pioneer is on the right hand side on the corner of State and South Pearl.
