WNYT: Pioneer awards $25K to five nonprofits

"Pioneer is marking Giving Tuesday with some big donations.
The bank on Wednesday presented $25,000 to five local nonprofits Athletic Haven, The Community Hospice Foundation, Prabhuji Food Distribution, The Reading is Fun Program and Veterans Miracle Center.
'Everybody from Pioneer Foundation, you guys are amazing, it’s such an honor to be in this room with so many people with such big hearts, to make such real change in the community, so thank you very much,' said Stacey Lauren, director of The Veteran’s Miracle Center.
With today’s donation, the Pioneer Charitable Foundation surpassed the $2 million mark in total giving.
The organization has supported more than four-hundred non profits since its founding in 2018."
