Pioneer Expands Banking Footprint into Columbia County with a Full‑Service Branch in Hudson, New York
Conveniently located in Hudson, the branch will offer a modern banking experience with private offices for consultations and feature a drive‑thru Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) offering extended‑hours banking. The space is currently undergoing renovation to reflect Pioneer’s customer-centric branch design. The branch is located adjacent to Hudson Financial’s offices, providing convenient access to a wide range of financial solutions under one roof, supporting Pioneer’s More Than a Bank® business strategy.
"Building on our initial entry into the Hudson market through the acquisition of Hudson Financial, this new branch allows us to serve residents and local businesses in a more direct and meaningful way," said Thomas Amell, President & CEO of Pioneer. "We see strong potential in Columbia County, and we’re committed to expanding access to banking services, supporting small‑business growth, and investing in the organizations that help this community thrive."
"As we establish our branch presence in Hudson, our focus is on delivering a banking experience that is personal, accessible, and convenient," said Dan Cancelliere, SVP, Customer Experience at Pioneer. "From the extended‑hours ITM to the dedicated consultation space, this branch is designed around how customers want to bank today."
As part of its first year in Hudson, Pioneer has committed $30 million in new small business lending in Columbia County, further expanding access to capital for local employers. Additionally, Pioneer’s Charitable Foundation will pledge $50,000 in support of Columbia County‑based nonprofits through a combination of sponsorships, grants, tangible giving, and employee volunteer support. These efforts continue the Charitable Foundation’s mission of supporting families, youth programs, and community well‑being.
Pioneer will partner with the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce for an official ribbon‑cutting ceremony to be announced at a later date.
