Albany Business Review: Pioneer acquires college advisory business

"Pioneer (Nasdaq: PBFS) has acquired the college advisory service, adding it to the Colonie-based community bank's broadening portfolio of consulting businesses.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
The College Advisor's founder, Dean Skarlis, has joined the bank as vice president of college advising, offering guidance to families as they navigate higher-education admissions. His nine-person team has also joined the bank.
Susan Hollister, Pioneer's chief human resources officer, who leads the bank's employee benefits and HR consulting businesses, will oversee the newly established college advising division."
