Albany Business Review: Former M&T Bank exec joins Pioneer board

"A well-known banking executive has joined the board of Pioneer Bancorp Inc.

 

Mike Keegan, who retired last year after 31 years with M&T Bank, was appointed to the board of Colonie-based Pioneer's parent company earlier this week, according to a regulatory filing.

 

'We are thrilled to have Mike join our board of directors,' Tom Amell, president and CEO of Pioneer, said in a statement. 'His extensive banking expertise, commitment to community engagement, and deep understanding of our regional market will provide a valuable perspective as we continue to execute our long-term growth strategy and serve our customers, communities and shareholders.'"
