Pioneer Bank Announces Completion of New Colonie Branch Location

The new branch is an example of Pioneer Bank's continued investment in technology and customer convenience
Colonie, New York – Pioneer Bank announced today the completion of a new branch located at 1770 Central Avenue in Colonie. It marks the first new construction for the bank since 2016, when a branch within the new Pioneer Bank Headquarters opened.
This replaces their current branch located at 1761 Central Avenue, which closed at the end of business on Friday. The new branch location opens to the public today, January 21, at 9:00 AM. It employs approximately five full-time team members.
The exterior of the new 1,875-square-foot branch will soon feature a wrap-around digital display, similar to the one located at Pioneer's Headquarters on Albany-Shaker Road in Colonie.
The new branch includes a number of modern banking solutions that Pioneer has deployed at its other branches, including a state-of-the-art Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), which allow customers the ability to video chat with a local Pioneer Bank representative to complete nearly any transaction request. The Interactive Tellers are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM. The machine functions as an ATM when an Interactive Teller is not available. There are 13 Pioneer Bank ITMs located throughout their branch network.
The new branch also features teller "pods" that replace traditional teller windows, cash recyclers, digital displays, and a Shops at Pioneer store that showcase products from local businesses. Proceeds from the Shops at Pioneer are donated to the Pioneer Bank Foundation, which supports local charitable organizations that focus on the health and welfare of children.

The opening of the new Pioneer Bank Colonie Branch follows extensive renovations of the bank's Malta and Wynantskill Branches, which were completed last year.
